FEATURED CASE STUDY
NavNet
A shared home for a community that moves together. A platform bringing Star Citizen crews, mission planning, and fleet coordination into one experience.
NavNet’s public welcome page.
- The need
- Bringing a Star Citizen crew together takes more than being online at the same time. Members need a shared place to see who is assigned, which ships are available, and when the next operation is planned.
- My contribution
- I maintain the platform and develop the member experience alongside its operational tools.
- A key decision
- Separate the community area from the operations center and organize access by role. One shared platform does not have to mean the same screen for everyone.
The product journey
- Verify member identity
- Enter the appropriate role-based area
- Follow missions and the calendar
- Bring crew and fleet information together
Outcome & evidence
A product connecting member spaces, mission planning, and fleet records. Evidence here is the live welcome page and a genuine screenshot; private member and operational records are not published.
From community to operations
NavNet connects a member and community area with an operations center. Personnel records, missions, a calendar, fleet inventory, and training records sit within one platform, with access organized around each member’s role.
Scope and the screen shown
An independent Star Citizen community application, not an official game service. The portfolio capture shows the public welcome page. Member administration and operational tools live in areas that require sign-in.
An unofficial Star Citizen community project.
